John Wilson practices at Rush, Hannula, Harkins & Kyler, L.L.P., where he currently serves as the firm’s managing partner. Mr. Wilson handles a wide range of civil litigation and personal injury cases, including complex professional negligence matters. During his career, Mr. Wilson has litigated cases on both the plaintiff and defense side. In addition, he is regularly appointed by the court to serve as a settlement guardian ad litem in personal injury cases involving children and incapacitated adults.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wilson has successfully resolved cases for clients on both sides of the bar in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations, as well as serving as a neutral arbitrator and mediator in many more. He has trial experience in a dozen cases. John prides himself on maintaining an even temperament, a sense of humor, and a passion for reasonably and fairly resolving legal cases.
Mr. Wilson has served in several leadership positions in the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association as well as serving on the Disciplinary Board for the Washington State Bar Association. Washington Law & Politics Magazine has named John a Super Lawyer for several years running.
